About L.I.T.
Based in Kansas City, Missouri since 1985
Lucky International Trading, Inc. (L.I.T.) has played a significant role in the growth of the Asian restaurant food industry in the Midwest.
Guided by the idea to popularize and advance the social perception of Asian cuisine, L.I.T. has strived to bring the best quality ingredients and services at the most competitive prices.
To provide customers with a convenient buying experience, L.I.T. is a broadline distributor carrying roughly 1,000 different products ranging from canned goods, produce, meats, seafood, napkins, food containers, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and much more.
L.I.T. acknowledges our ability to provide our customers with quality ingredients is due to the close relationships L.I.T. has developed with quality reputable vendors. Our current service area includes Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and northern Arkansas. We recognize this achievement as being possible due to the most important people, you, the Customers.
As such, we continuously improve on providing our customers with the ongoing commitment to service and quality that you have all come to know. The Beginning of Lucky International Trading, Inc (L.I.T.)
George King, an immigrant from Taiwan, started his business focused on providing dry foods to local restaurants. With limited resources, L.I.T. was founded in an underground cave in Kansas City, Missouri.

1990
Continued Business Growth
As the industry started growing at a rapid pace, LIT moved to it's first distribution warehouse totaling 35,000 sq. ft. The move helped accommodate the vastly growing variety and volume of products.

1999
Product Line Expansion
Dedicated to providing our customers a better experience, LIT added two major food categories, Produce & Seafood, to the product line.

2007
Broadline Distributor
After over 20 years of experience in foodservice distribution, LIT completed it's product line with the addition of poultry, beef, and pork. With a comprehensive product line, LIT became a broadline foodservice distributor to better meet all of our customers' needs.

New generation of leadership
David King, a certified public accountant (CPA), worked as a business consultant for public companies decided to follow his father into the business as the 2nd generation of family leadership.

New 65,000 sq ft Distribution Facility
LIT expands and moves into a newly renovated modern facility. The new facility tripled LITs refrigerated and dry storage areas. Quality assurance and food safety is our top priority. Our warehouse maintains the highest standards and is constantly monitored by our team to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.
